Taking a Chance: A Note from Mark Menezes

In January 2016, I decided to take a chance and launch Triangle Real Producers. I prepared for change and I expected challenges, but I did not anticipate the incredible things that would happen along the way.

Throughout my life, I have always been an avid collector of things. For me, it is the memory behind the thing, and more specifically, the person attached to that memory. The past year and a half has given me a deeper realization of how important relationships are in our lives. When I look back at my life, it is the people that have made an impact. I have never wished that I could get back my 1984 Mazda GLC hatchback with the Enkei rims, Pioneer detachable face-plate stereo, and two 12" Rockford Fosgate sub-woofers.... but man, what I would not give to spend an afternoon carving wood, sipping coffee and sharing stories with my Great Grandpa Pittman.

People are what matter most in life. Our relationships will shape our life, our family and our businesses. We can only trust people we know, and truly knowing someone in 2017 can be a difficult thing do, especially with the busyness of life and work. Our goal with Real Producers is to tell the real stories of real people so that those that make up the real estate community can make the type of connections and relationships that will help their business and overall life. Years from now, we may or may not remember exactly what our personal sales numbers were this year, but I know we will remember the people that meant the most to us, and it will be them that we wish we could see again.
