Maria and Moises Rosales

Building Bigger Lives, One Bold Step at a Time

Maria and Moises Rosales did not just step into real estate. They leaped. And that leap, taken in September 2015, changed everything. At the time, Maria left behind a stable career as a human resources generalist in the agriculture industry. Moises stayed in his corporate role to support the family while Maria entered a commission-only world filled with uncertainty. “Like many, I started with uncertainty,” Maria said. “Learning the business while developing discipline and consistency.”

That uncertainty did not last long.
More than 10 years later, Maria and Moises have served over 850 families, averaged more than 115 transactions in the last 5 years and lead a team of 16 agents. They have earned recognition as four-time ICON agents and ranked among the Top 100 in the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. But for them, success has always meant more than numbers. “I became a real estate agent to create opportunities,” Maria said. “For myself, my family, and others.”

Before real estate, both Maria and Moises were searching. Maria worked in human resources, while Moises built his career as a general manager in the wellness and fitness industry. Still, something was missing. “I was searching for a vehicle that allowed growth, income, and impact,” Moises said. “Real estate became that vehicle.”

Their journey is rooted in humble beginnings. Both were born in Mexico, Maria in Guanajuato
and Moises in Mexico City, before eventually settling in Bakersfield, California, where they have lived for more than two decades. Today, they proudly call it home. Along the way, their mindset became their greatest asset. “Mentors, leaders, and coaches helped shape my mindset and expand my vision,” Moises said. “But above everything, God has been the foundation of our life.” Maria added.

Faith, family and a relentless commitment to growth have defined their path. Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in human resource management, is a licensed real estate broker associate and is currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate in law school. Moises credits his education to real-world experience. “My real education came through real estate, business, and investing heavily in personal development and mentorship,” he said.
Together, they have invested more than $1 million into coaching, training and leadership development. That commitment shows up in how they run their business today.

Their team is built on systems, accountability and a culture of growth. They spend significant time mentoring agents one-on-one and emphasize relationships over transactions. “We lead with integrity, heart, and best results for our clients and our agents,” Maria said.

That philosophy has helped them expand beyond their local market. The couple now operates internationally, with a presence in Tulum, Mexico, where they own Maya Elite Properties.
“I’m passionate about the expansionl of life,” Moises said. “Growing our business, developing agents, and creating opportunities locally and internationally.”

Despite their growth, the heart of their business remains unchanged.
“The most rewarding part is helping families change their lives through real estate,” Maria said. “And watching agents grow into leaders within our organization.”

Like many in the industry, their biggest challenge was not external. It was internal.
“The biggest challenge was mindset,” Moises said. “Learning how to stay consistent through uncertainty.” They overcame it through discipline, daily habits and coaching. That same lesson now shapes their advice to others.

“Master your mindset first. Stay consistent. Focus on skills, not shortcuts,” Moises said. “Discipline and daily execution will always outperform motivation.”

Outside of business, Maria and Moises are deeply grounded in family life. Married for nearly 16 years, they are raising two daughters, Madison and Mackenzie, along with their puppy, Mercy. Whether traveling, spending time in what they call their second home in Tulum, Mexico or exploring in their RV across the country, they prioritize quality time together. “Family is the core of everything we do,” Maria said.

They also share a passion for health, faith and personal development. Daily workouts, outdoor walks and a strong focus on nutrition are part of their routine, along with faith-based gatherings and community involvement. Giving back is equally important. They support local initiatives and have created a scholarship program for high school students. “We are passionate about giving back to our community,” Maria said. For Maria and Moises, real estate is not just a career. It is a foundation for something much bigger.

“Real estate is the foundation,” Moises said. “It allows us to build wealth, expand into other ventures, and create long-term impact.” It has also changed the trajectory of their own family. “It allows us to provide a beautiful life for our little girls,” Maria said. Ask them what they want to be remembered for, and the answer is simple.

“For helping people expand their lives,” Moises said. “Not just financially, but mentally, spiritually, and generationally.” That belief is captured in their slogan: “Expand your mind. Expand your life. Expand your territory.” For Maria and Moises, those are not just words. They are a blueprint.

“This is bigger than real estate,” Maria said. “This is about expansion of mindset, life, and legacy.” And if their journey proves anything, it is that with God, discipline and a willingness to grow, the possibilities are limitless. We are very grateful God open this path for us and we are extremely grateful for all our clients, partners, friends and family that trust us over and over to walk them through a very important part of their lives.

“Over all God is the center and the driver of it all. Without Him, none of this would exist . And if our  life tells a story, let it be a story of God. All glory belongs to Him.”
