Audri Marrs
Believing and Never Stopping
Audri Marrs has lived most of her life by a simple rhythm: believe you can do something, then work until you finish it. Long before real estate, she was ranching and bartending—jobs with no shortcuts and no room for hesitation. That early mix taught her to stay steady when things got messy, solve problems quickly, and show up even on the days she didn’t want to. She didn’t realize it then, but that mindset would become the backbone of her real estate career.
“I grew up in Michigan, watching strong, resilient women in my family build businesses from the ground up,” Audri recalls. “They showed me what it means to lead with integrity, to stay adaptable, and to genuinely care about the people you serve.”
After earning a degree in human development and education, Audri knew she didn’t want to teach in a traditional classroom. She liked people, she liked figuring out what motivated them, and she liked helping them through big decisions—she just needed a different setting.
Around that time, a close friend who had just entered real estate encouraged her to give it a shot. Audri got her license in her early twenties, stepped into the business without overthinking it, and quickly recognized how naturally it fit.
“I wanted the independence of being my own boss,” she explains. “Real estate was one of the few industries where the ceiling is limitless—you earn in proportion to the value and effort you put in.” That idea carried her through her first years in the industry and eventually into building something of her own.
The steepest learning curve for Audri wasn’t paperwork or pace—it was learning how to carry the weight of people’s life transitions without taking all of it on herself. She had to create boundaries and structure so she could stay grounded and avoid burnout.
As her business grew, so did her clarity about what she loved most: helping people build long-term wealth. Real estate wasn’t just her path to independence; it became a way to show everyday people what was possible. “Investing isn’t reserved for the independently wealthy. Anyone can start with the right strategy and support,” she says. Watching clients buy their first home or take their first step into investing is still the part that sticks with her the most.
She took her biggest leap five years ago, in the middle of COVID when she opened her own brokerage. While others were giving up office space, she signed a lease on her first one. It wasn’t a statement—it was a solution. She wanted to build the exact environment she needed to do her best work. “I get to choose the people I surround myself with,” she shares. The agents who join her are collaborative, motivated, and committed to growth—the kind of team that lifts each other up and expects the best from one another.
“That culture of accountability, support, and genuine celebration has pushed me to continue evolving as both a REALTOR® and a leader,” Audri explains. “Being part of a team that is aligned, motivated, and genuinely invested in each other’s success has been one of the most powerful factors in my own growth.”
Outside of work, Audri’s life revolves around the people and places that feel like home. She’s the oldest of four siblings, all of whom moved from Michigan to Colorado together to snowboard and spend more time in the mountains. Even now, her favorite days are the simple ones—ski lodges, chairlifts, and long runs with the people she grew up with. She recently became an aunt, and at home she’s kept in line by her two small dogs, Spit and Teddy, who run the house with full confidence.
When she’s not working, she loves reading books like The Great Alone, How to Be Loving, and Unreasonable Hospitality. She also loves traveling, biking, listening to podcasts, snowboarding, or playing volleyball. When it comes to giving back, her favorite organization is Food for Thought, which aligns with her values around community and access.
When newer agents ask for advice, she keeps it short: “Be naïve enough to believe you can, and tenacious enough to not stop until you do.” More than anything, she hopes to be remembered for one thing: “Connecting deeply with people and leaving them better than I found them.”
It’s the same spirit that carried her from farming and bartending into real estate, that pushed her to open a brokerage during a global shutdown, and that continues to guide the way she leads today—always believing, never backing down.
