With a heart of gold and a contagious love for life, Lori was born in Clovis, a small town near Fresno, California. Her hometown roots are deep, as her husband, Gene, also grew up there and attended the same schools where they met and became friends. However they didn't start dating until well into their college years. They tied the knot in 1994 and have been happily married ever since.

 

Before becoming a real estate agent, Lori worked as a medical billing specialist, which came in handy when she ran the offices for her husband's two chiropractic offices in Summerlin and Henderson, all while raising their three children.

 

Lori worked for a hemophiliac home health company after graduating from high school and put herself through college. She credits her passion for helping others thanks to her previous experience working with patients in the home healthcare arena. The invaluable knowledge she gained from learning to work hard at a young age taught her the power of a strong work ethic and responsibility. In real estate, Lori emphasizes the importance of being hands-on and responsive, which means exceptional communication skills with all parties involved.

 

Admittedly, one of the biggest hardships Lori has had to overcome was losing her father at a young age. However, she and her family banded together to support her mother, who had to raise three young daughters on her own. Lori's strong support system helped her through this difficult time and she emphasizes the importance of having a network of people to rely on during tough times.

 

In real estate, Lori is known for being a multitasker and often handles multiple transactions simultaneously, making the process as easy as possible for everyone involved. She’s had numerous clients come to her after having a bad experience with their previous agent, and she works hard to ensure that the process with her is as smooth as possible.

 

Throughout the years, Lori says a game changer in her business was switching from traditional real estate to Redfin. She loves the flexibility, fulfillment, and fast paced environment she gets from working there and has become a top producing agent in Las Vegas, ranking #156 in the first quarter of 2023  thanks to their guidance and support. Next, she is looking forward to moving into the luxury market as a Redfin Premier agent and admits she is excited to expand her experience in luxury real estate for the betterment of her clients.

 

Currently, Lori is passionate about helping those in need. She participates in events to help the less fortunate and the Veteran’s community. She plans to focus on two events every month in 2023 to give back to her community.

 

For up-and-coming top producers, Lori emphasizes the importance of education and getting involved in committees and classes. She encourages asking as many questions as possible and helping other agents, regardless of their experience level. Every transaction is different, and there is always something to learn.

 

In their free time, Lori and Gene enjoy quick getaways to Duck Creek, Utah, where Gene's family has a cabin that they built from the bottom up. They love the easy three-hour drive from Vegas, the perfect weather, and the plethora of activities available - fishing, boating, and hiking. They also enjoy spur-of-the-moment camping trips, concerts, trying new restaurants, and hanging out at home playing games. Above all, family first is Lori’s motto, which is evident in her love for hosting events and having people over to her home for special occasions and holidays.

 

Looking to the future, Lori’s goal is to become more involved with social media, to help people better learn the basics of real estate and the positive impact through helping others in need. She plans on using social media to reach others in the Las Vegas community.
