Rob Predmore

Timeless Integrity Meets Tireless Hustle

In an industry constantly in flux, Rob Predmore stands out for his steady commitment to ethical dealings, a relentless work ethic, and a 25-year real estate legacy built on meeting his own expectations before anyone else’s.

A Life Forged in Diligence
Rob's roots lie in the heartland of Central Nebraska, where he grew up surrounded by agriculture. His childhood instilled in him a robust work ethic and a deep understanding of the value of every hard-earned dollar.

After completing his degree in Criminal Justice from Kearney State College, Rob spent 21 years navigating the complexities of the corrections system as a case worker and later as a case manager. Working with the Nebraska Department of Corrections and the Lancaster County Corrections, he forged a unique path—one that would later lend a distinctive perspective to his real estate endeavors. This period not only solidified his work ethic but also shaped his approach to treating people with respect and fairness.

"I like to joke that I met Teresa in prison," Rob chuckles, reflecting on the unexpected twist that led him to real estate. “My wife and I were both working for the Department of Corrections at the time. Teresa had advanced much further than I had and was in line for a promotional position. That position required that we could not work together in the same chain of command.”

It was a pivotal career moment, and Rob decided that if he were to leave, it would be for something he truly wanted.

"I was always interested in real estate, and I had a background in construction," he explains.

Rob obtained his sales license in 1998 and never looked back, and Teresa eventually joined him on Team Predmore in 2004. Teresa's background in psychology and her adeptness at handling challenges complement Rob's skills perfectly.

"She adds a different perspective, and I love bouncing ideas off each other," he says appreciatively.

A Quarter-Century of Excellence
Rob’s dedication to setting high standards for himself and his clients has become the hallmark of his work. With his wife Teresa as an integral part of Team Predmore, Rob has not only weathered the storms of the industry but has thrived. As a team, they've surpassed $260 million in career sales, a testament to their effectiveness and commitment.

The momentum continues into 2024, with a projected 68 transactions and a total sales volume of $20 million expected by the end of 2023. Despite these impressive numbers, Rob remains humble.

"I strive to do better tomorrow than I did today,” he shrugs. “If I can continue to improve and become more efficient, that is my success."

However, the accolades haven't eluded him. In 2022, Rob won an award for volunteering to assist agents with situational questions, teaching new agents through a program called Rookie Roundtable, and offering assistance when needed. In 2023, his peers nominated him as an "Icon" for the Real Producers Gala — an acknowledgment of his enduring impact on the industry.

"My integrity is first and foremost on a day-to-day basis,” Rob affirms. “I work on setting my own expectations as much as I work at setting my clients' expectations."

Doing It All
In 2018, the couple took a bold step, starting Predmore Designs, a building company that would become an integral part of their real estate success.

“Our building company will be starting our 6th year this spring. Teresa helps with the selection process and materials as well as a lot of the ‘behind the scenes’ stuff … My work as a salesperson and our building operation as Predmore Designs are both very fulfilling,” Rob reflects.

“I get to meet a lot of great people both in the profession and the general public. I sell residential and I build residential, but as an ag kid, I also focus on land development. I’ve always been invested emotionally in acreage settings and agricultural properties with my background.”

Making the Move
Formerly a managing broker at Keller Williams after 18 years at Wood Brothers, Rob made the switch to associate broker at Nebraska Realty with his wife in 2019.

“The move was good for us. We had just got the construction business up and running and frankly I didn’t have time to be a managing broker, there weren’t enough hours in the day. We made the move to Nebraska Realty, and Arla Meyer, and Thane Jensen —the co-managing brokers there — are both long-time friends.

“Arla and I have been close since I started my career at Wood Brothers and she worked there, and Thane and Arla let us run our business the way we want.”

Beyond Business
Outside the office, Rob and Teresa find joy in the company of their family. The couple have two children — Matt and Tyler — and two grandchildren. They also have a frisky German Shepherd named Lucy, who is their popular poster pooch for advertising campaigns.

In his spare time, Rob enjoys competitive clay shooting; he has been shooting competitively for 16 years, earning an impressive 43rd perfect 100 score in this year’s World Championships.

“My biggest hobby is more of an obsession,” Rob laughs.

Rob’s achievements include 16 American skeet state championships, seven regional championships, and consistently ranking in the world's top 10 — an extraordinary feat that mirrors his drive for excellence. He notes his dedication to coaching young shooters and supporting various associations reflects his commitment to giving back.

“Most of my support, financially and time donated, goes towards the youth of the Wild Turkey Federation, National Skeet Association, National Sporting Clays Association, University of Nebraska Shotgun Club and many others,” Rob adds.

When asked about the future, Rob good-naturedly dismisses the notion of slowing down yet.

"I internally laugh, as I know that I have a minimum of another 10 years that I think I can work at the pace I currently do," he admits. “I truly love real estate and I can’t imagine not being involved in selling or building houses.”
