Alysha Dupsky

Finding Her Voice

In just three years, Alysha Dupsky has already earned a local reputation for being a promising REALTORⓇ to work with, bringing her rich professional background in customer service and recruiting to her role at Woods Bros Realty.

“It was just a gut feeling when the timing was right to make the brave leap,” she smiles. “I’m definitely a Gemini and we thrive on change.”

A Solid Background of Service
Originally from Seattle, Alysha was raised by her loving grandparents in Lincoln. She notes they worked hard to make sure she had a good life and were the type of people who knew the value of a dollar and the importance of good manners — lessons they were keen to pass down to their young granddaughter.

"They were raised by people who lived through the Great Depression,” Alysha explains. “They taught me all about hard work, being grateful, and being respectful.”

After graduating from UNL, Alysha honed her skills in customer service management and recruiting, experiences that she says contributed greatly to her quick rise in real estate. She ventured back to Wesleyan for Organizational Leadership and Communications with aspirations in HR, aiming for a career focusing in employee engagement and retention.

However, something else had also been brewing, and with encouragement from her husband, Alysha pivoted to real estate — a field she had always been drawn to. Her background in service laid a strong foundation for this new chapter, allowing her to excel in understanding her clients' needs while staying organized and adaptable.

"I worked as a recruiter for Crete Carrier for several years prior to real estate, and my heart has always been in customer service," Alysha reflects, acknowledging how these roles prepared her for what lay ahead.

Finding Success
Since obtaining her license in March of 2021, Alysha has already seen impressive growth, closing 17 transactions last year with a total volume of $4.2 million. This year, she aims to double that volume, targeting $8 million.

As a fledgling agent with a ton of questions, Alysha credits much of her success to those around her.

“It was a tremendous help to have found a small work family in those first few months,” Alysha shares. “It made a difference to find people who believe in you and you also really look up to. There were several key people who helped support me in the beginning and still make a difference on my day to day — Nathan Satorie for sure, April as well, and on the day to day now, Lindsay, Shannon, and Kim.”

For Alysha, it’s not about racing to the closing table; it's about forming genuine connections and guiding her clients through one of their most significant life decisions by educating them every step of the way.

"I’m big on communicating and I’m adaptable,” Alysha emphasizes. “You can't always foresee what's coming up, but I like to educate my buyers and sellers and be prepared by being proactive in every situation.

“Each transaction is an individual situation with different factors, and I want my clients to know I truly care and give them each the attention they deserve,” she continues. “By proactively educating them on the what-if scenarios, I don’t want my clients to ever worry about surprises.”

True to her client-first mantra, Alysha’s advice to new agents is clear and poignant.

"It’s always about your client,” she affirms. “Listen to that inner voice and go for it. Real estate is an oyster and you can really find your way and explore a lot of avenues. In the short time I’ve been in this business, you learn very fast that you always have to adapt to the change this business brings.”

Outside the Office
When she’s not busy serving clients, Alysha's life is filled with family fun. She and her husband Tony share the joy of raising two very adorable, very different children — Eli (7) and Olive (4) — while two Australian Shepherd Golden Retriever mixes, Evie and Bella, ensure there’s never a dull moment in the Dupsky household.

“Eli is super tender, growing up fast, and listens. Olive is wild and unapologetic and listens if she feels like it,” Alysha laughs. “It’s a cliche, but watching them grow, it’s the good stuff.”

Whether she's cheering from the sidelines at Eli's taekwondo class, planning trips, or enjoying game nights at home, Alysha cherishes these family moments together.

Looking ahead, Alysha is passionate about continuing her real estate momentum, growing her real estate investment portfolio, and surprising herself with the excitement of hands-on remodeling. But at Alysha’s core, her highest hope is to be a role model for her children, embodying hard work, integrity, and success in all that she does.

“Real estate is an adventure, and I don’t want to stop seeing it like that; I want to be here for a long time,” she concludes. “ I feel like I’ve found my voice and it’s helping me step into who I am.”
