STEPHEN DOUGLAS-DUPRE FOUR POINTS TITLE, LLC

Putting His Name on It

For Stephen Douglas-Dupre, a name is more than just a label—it’s a contract. One he’s proud to sign every single day.

“Like my Paw Paw said, ‘You put your name to something, you better do right the first time,’” Stephen recalls. “That stuck with me. Your name should mean something.”

As the Marketing Director at Four Points Title, LLC, Stephen has made that principle the cornerstone of his work. Whether he’s planning an open house, partnering with agents, or standing at the closing table beside a first-time buyer, Stephen leads with intention and integrity—making people feel seen, supported, and celebrated. “We’re not just pushing paper. We’re guiding people home,” he says, referencing the company’s motto. “And we do it with joy, patience, and service.”

A Southern Path, a New Orleans Heart
Stephen grew up in a small town west of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, but Louisiana always called to him. With family in places like the Garden District and the Westbank, he knew early on that New Orleans was where he belonged. “I was always crossing the river growing up,” he says. “I just knew one day I’d live here.”

At 20, Stephen got his first taste of life in the city, renting a place off St. Charles Avenue. That chapter was short-lived, but transformative. He went back to college and over the years he finished his studies while managing many corporate America retail corporations.  Stephen studied at Ole Miss, UAB, Southern Miss and Franklin University in Ohio and has degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Business Management.

After years of working in corporate retail—and later, loan origination—Stephen realized he wanted more out of his career: more connection, more meaning, and more chances to make a difference. “When the opportunity came to move into the title side of real estate, it felt right,” he shares. “I wanted to be the face of a company that really stood for something.” Four Points Title felt like home from the start.

People First, Always
Four Points Title is a full-service title and law office with over 14 years of experience serving the Northshore, Southshore, River Parishes and beyond.  With an in-house abstractor, mobile services, bi-lingual services and a seasoned team, the company stands out for its commitment to service and transparency. And as marketing director, Stephen has become the company’s most visible ambassador. “I’m moldable,” he explains. “Whoever I’m working with—new agent, seasoned pro, lender, first-time buyer—I meet them where they are. I bring my full self every time.”

That energy and adaptability earned him industry-wide recognition in 2024, when he was awarded Affiliate of the Year by NOMAR—a moment he describes as “completely unexpected” and deeply affirming. “I just try to be the most genuine version of myself,” he says. “People can tell when it’s real.”

Stephen’s favorite part of the job? The people—especially first-time buyers. “The photos, the smiles, the joy in that moment—it never gets old.”

The Team Behind the Name
Stephen is quick to point out that the success of Four Points is the result of a team effort. From owner and notary Alana Reichert to attorney Vance W. Ott, to the closing and pre-closing teams, each person plays a vital role. “Everyone here is committed. We don’t pass the buck. We pick up the phone. We support each other, and we support our clients from beginning to end.”

It’s that kind of service—and that kind of culture—that Stephen believes every top producer should have in their corner. “If you want someone in your network who’s approachable, responsive, and all in, that’s me. That’s us.”

Home, Heart, and Weenie Dog Races
Outside of work, Stephen’s world is anchored by his husband Kerry and their two “daughters”—Cocoa Mi’chelle and Zoey Elizabeth, a pair of beloved dachshunds. “Our favorite traditions with our girls are the Weenie Dog Races at the Fair Grounds and Krewe of Barkus,” Stephen laughs. “They run their little hearts out and steps out in the fashion attire”.

At home, the family enjoys road trips, vacationing in the country of Mexico, outdoor time, and cozy evenings with “Daddy daddy” Kerry while he plays on the PlayStation and the girls are cuddled up with them.  He also keeps close ties with a tight-knit circle of friends, whom he considers family. He has a grown son working in the West Texas oil industry, and though visits are rare, the pride in his voice is unmistakable.

Looking Ahead
Stephen’s goals for the year ahead are simple but ambitious: bring more agents into the Four Points fold, grow partnerships with banks, and continue being the kind of industry partner others can rely on.

Long-term? He dreams of launching Double D Ranch, a haven for weenie dog lovers across the South. And whatever he does—whether in business or in life—you can count on one thing: he’ll put his name on it.

“Success, to me, is doing your best, having your word mean something, and being known for being real. That’s what I try to live by.”
