Christa Nielsen

Living And Loving Loudly

“Love is at the core of who I am, and it naturally translates into how I run my business,” Christa Nielsen begins. “For me, real estate is more than buying or selling homes — it’s about building relationships and strengthening the fabric of the place I call home.”

That intention shows up in everything Christa does as a REALTOR®, from educating her clients with clarity and compassion, to highlighting the local spots that give Morgan Hill its signature charm. Beyond just reaching the closing table, she loves welcoming new neighbors with open arms.

Tech Background
Christa grew up in San Jose and has lived all over the Bay Area, but when she found her way to Morgan Hill with her now-husband and purchased their first house in 2011, she knew she was home.

Before entering the world of real estate eight years ago, Christa’s people-first mindset was honed in the fast-paced tech world.

“I played a key role in helping grow a start-up from the ground up,” she recalls. “I led the Human Resources department and was deeply involved in building company culture and operations.”

Eventually, Christa chose to step away from her busy career to become a stay-at-home mom. But after her children reached school-age, she knew it was time to dive into a new challenge, “something that had always been calling” to her.

Needless to say, real estate was a perfect fit for her warm personality.

“Whether it was working with teams or supporting individuals in meaningful ways, I’ve always found energy in connection,” Christa shares. “Real estate felt like a natural next step — it allowed me to build relationships while also serving my local community.”

Since earning her license in 2017, Christa has grown a business that’s every bit as personal as it is professional. Last year alone, she closed $21 million across 18 transactions, including new construction.

“One of the things that sets me apart is that I approach every client relationship as an educator,” she explains. “I take the time to walk my clients through everything — from contracts to timelines — so they feel confident and never overwhelmed.”

Marketing is another key ingredient in her secret sauce.

“I operate across multiple platforms and prioritize high-level, strategic promotion for every listing and aggressive marketing towards buyers as well,” Christa offers. “But I don’t gatekeep. I actively share what I’ve learned with other agents because I believe we all grow better together.”

Even her day-to-day business is grounded in genuine connection: “Whether I’m dining out or shopping locally, I almost always run into someone I know,” she continues. “That personal connection matters to me, and I truly love being part of a place where community thrives.”

Grounded In Priorities
Loss has a way of rearranging your priorities, and for Christa, it changed everything. After the passing of her sister and a close friend to cancer, she decided there was no time like the present to speak her mind more often, take risks, and lean into joy.

“Watching two people I loved lose their futures so young completely shifted my perspective on how I live mine,” she reflects. “I try to live in a way that honors them, by being fully and unapologetically myself.”

That ethos shows up in her social media, in her work ethic, and in the joy she brings to even the smallest of daily rituals.

Her Greatest Achievement
Beyond the office, Christa and her husband Braden keep busy raising their two wonderful children — Ethan (13) and Hannah (11) — and one aptly-named rescue pup, Morgan — in the heart of Morgan Hill.

“We’re a tight-knit crew of five (yes, the dog counts!),” she laughs. “Whether it’s hiking local trails, walking to the farmer’s market, riding bikes, trying new restaurants, or cuddling up for movie nights, we’re always finding ways to enjoy time together.”

And while her business continues to thrive, her definition of success remains beautifully grounded. “It’s not about one milestone or end goal,” she emphasizes. “It’s building a business I’m proud of, while making sure my family always feels supported and loved along the way.”

She also takes pride in being part of something bigger than herself. With a heart of gold and a business rooted in connection, Christa is helping build a better community for her clients and children alike.

“I want to be remembered as a positive light in people’s lives, someone who made a difference, big or small,” she concludes. “I love my community — loud and clear. It’s a special town, and I believe it offers people a more peaceful, intentional way of life. I’m proud to be part of that story.”

Looking ahead, Christa has plenty of ambitions to keep her excited and motivated.

“I plan to continue scaling my business, growing a strong, supportive network of agents at Real Broker, and helping others reach their full potential,” she concludes thoughtfully.

“Personally, I’m looking forward to watching my kids grow into the amazing humans they’re becoming and continuing to build a life filled with adventure, love, and purpose. And while I’m constantly focused on growth and what’s next, I know the journey itself is worth savoring.”
