Terence Arrington
Alpha Realty

Terence Arrington is a leading real estate agent with Alpha Realty who has grown accustomed to reaching his goals and leading by example.
But that’s just the start. Terence clears the path for others by lifting them up in a way that lightens their load.
“What I love is seeing that this is truly bigger than just selling homes. I believe that God has places for people to be in. It’s not just for the house or to have nice cabinets and countertops… but to have a place to gather and to make room for other things to happen in that space,” Terence says with a smile.
“Seeing how everything comes together. I’ve seen miracles happen. I’ve seen clients win deals that they shouldn’t have won when there were eight offers on the table and things worked out for them. That’s one of my favorite parts… making that experience very smooth and as easy as possible for them. Something that could be very stressful for most people, I work to ensure that my clients walk away stress-free.”
Getting His Start
Terence earned his license in 2019. From the beginning of his career, faith has played a big part in the road that he takes on behalf of his clients.
“I was caught in a hard place. My wife and I had a child and we decided that she would be home. At that point, our finances then were cut in half.”
Picking a New Path
At the time, Terence worked in banking, but there didn’t seem to be many opportunities for him to move forward.
“I searched for other options and was doing some Lift and Uber driving on the side. I also did some landscaping work, as well… whatever I could do to make ends meet. I decided to play big,” Terence remembers.
“Real estate was always on my mind and I felt it would be very fun. I hadn’t thought I was qualified to do it. But my mom was a big source of support for me. She helped to pay for the schooling through the process of earning my license.”
Gaining Ground
Like many who get their start, Terence experienced a challenging learning curve. In 2019, he worked part-time in real estate. Then, in 2020, he went full-time during the COVID-19 lockdown.
“All my peers thought I was crazy, but it felt like the right time for me. It was challenging working part-time, but it’s part of the process,” Terence remembers.
“I think you have to go through the fire to learn what you need to do to maintain this business. I just kept moving forward, and I feel like I was able to learn pretty quickly. I felt led to leave my job of nine years to dedicate myself fully to real estate. Once I did that, I jumped in and my business took off. Things went upwards from there.”
Wonderful Life
Life for Terence is made much richer by his family, including his wife, Molly, and their two children.
In his free time, one of Terence’s favorites is spending time with his family.
“I value home and being a present husband and father,” Terence says. “I also like to be out in nature and go on walks.”
Terence likes to share his musical gifts as well.
As he says, “I love music. I’m one of the worship leaders at Hope Church, and always look forward to singing there.”
When it comes to the community, Terence is a big fan of the efforts of Teen Challenge. He also appreciates the opportunity to partner with Flat Branch Home Loans.
“They are my main lender. They make the lending process and experience super easy and smooth. Adam Swenka is my go-to Loan Officer,” he says. “I also appreciate and enjoy working with Adam McGrath with Comparion Insurance.”
True Care
When you talk with Terence, you can see the true care that he takes with those around him.
“I care about them as people more than I care about the transaction. I am always willing to go above and beyond to get them where they need to be,” Terence says.
“My hope is also that they know I value family… not just my family, but theirs as well. I treat everyone I work with as I do my own family to ensure they are taken care of.”
Mission accomplished. It’s easy to see the way he dedicates his experience and expertise to clearing the path ahead for his clients and their families.
