Originally from Helena, Arkansas, Janelle Stowers arrived in St. Louis as a small child after her father exited the military. It was here that her family planted roots, and here where Janelle would eventually cultivate a real estate ecosystem designed to do much more than just close deals. For Janelle, the Broker and Educator behind Stowers Realty Group and Realty Central Education Center, the profession is a mission centered on ownership, independence, and the high-level development of the next generation.
Her entry into the industry, however, was born out of a personal frustration. When purchasing her first property, Janelle found herself navigating a lackluster experience where she felt her agent failed to provide necessary education. That moment became a catalyst.
“I researched the industry, vowed to be better than the agent who mishandled me, and have been here ever since,” Janelle reflects.
A Triple-Threat Approach
With 21 years in the profession and a robust academic background—including an MBA and a Master’s in Education—Janelle has structured her career around three distinct lanes: service, education, and advocacy. Through Stowers Realty Group, she provides full-service solutions in residential real estate, new construction, and investment properties. Simultaneously, Realty Central Education Center serves as a training institute for pre-licensing and continuing education.
“I’m most passionate about creating access and building wealth through real estate—especially for communities that have historically been left out,” Janelle shares. “At the core, I don’t just sell houses or teach classes. I open doors for first-time buyers, investors, and families.”
Her work extends into the realm of leadership as the president of the Realtist of Metropolitan St. Louis, where she advocates for fair housing and equity. For Janelle, these roles are inextricably linked. She isn’t just waiting for talent to appear in the market; she is creating it from the ground up.

“A lot of what I teach and practice in real estate is rooted in family—building stability, creating opportunities, and leaving a legacy,” Janelle explains. “Success, to me, is about freedom, impact, and legacy. It’s having the freedom to make choices—how I spend my time, who I work with, and how I show up for my family and my business.”
As she looks toward the future, Janelle is focused on scaling her footprint into Illinois and expanding her education platform. Her goal remains unchanged: to use real estate as a tool to change lives.
