FAYE BECKER & ROSA STONG BECKER STONG REAL ESTATE GROUP, INC.
THE POWER OF FOCUS
In the world of real estate, partnerships are often built on volume and high-speed transactions. But at Becker Stong Real Estate Group, Inc., the foundation of the team is built on something far more enduring: a shared commitment to the individual and a deep well of professional expertise that spans economics, law, and design.
Faye Becker and Rosa Stong may have come from different backgrounds—one a Racine native with a penchant for global adrenaline and the other a Sicilian-born former paralegal—but since joining forces in 2014, they have created a boutique experience that prioritizes the person over the property. Their unified tagline, “Our Focus is YOU,” isn’t just a marketing slogan; it’s the guiding principle of their daily operations.
“We are a boutique firm and we care about each other and our clients,” Rosa shares. “We go out of our way to make sure all bases are covered. If we start with a client, we are that client's contact throughout the transaction.”
Diverse Journeys, Shared Destination
Faye Becker’s path to real estate was almost ancestral, though she didn’t realize it at first. Her grandfather was a developer and broker, and her father was a dedicated appraiser. Despite this lineage, Faye initially pursued a different course, graduating from UW-Madison with a degree in Economics before later earning a degree in Interior Design.
She spent years teaching at Gateway Technical College and running an interior design firm, even living in Germany for three years while her husband served as an army dentist. “This career sneaked up on me slowly,” Faye reflects. “I love people, I love homes, and I feel I can have a positive impact on others' lives. I came to the realization this was something I loved and was a great melding of my past education and basic talents.”
Rosa Stong’s journey began in Gioiosa Marea, Sicily, before she came to America through Ellis Island. Growing up in Milwaukee’s Italian neighborhood, Rosa developed a strong work ethic early, assisting her father with contracting work as a teenager. Before entering real estate in 2013, she spent 25 years as an intellectual property paralegal, navigating the complexities of corporate law, wills, and trusts.
“Working in the law firm, I became acquainted with the paperwork, but reached a point where I wanted to be outdoors to meet the people,” Rosa quips. “Putting this all together, it was a perfect fit. I love real estate and working with people to meet their needs and desires.”
A Complementary Partnership
When Faye and Rosa decided to work together, they found that their distinct skill sets created a comprehensive shield for their clients. Faye’s background allows her to provide high-level context on interest rates and economic trends, while her design eye helps buyers see the hidden potential in a property.
“My interior design knowledge is always valuable when clients can't see how whatever is in front of them could be improved or changed,” Faye explains. “I am able to paint a word picture that helps them see possibilities.”
Rosa, who became the Broker and Owner of the firm in 2017, brings a meticulous legal mind and a heart for service. An ordained biblical scholar and teacher, she views real estate through the lens of life’s major transitions.
“Events in life affect real estate: the death of a loved one, downsizing, first-time owner, marriage,” Rosa says. “What may be challenging is working with different situations these buyers and sellers are going through. Take charge of the situation, anticipate what they may face next, and be prepared to answer their questions.”
Keys to the Kingdom
For this duo, success is measured by the stability they provide during what can be an anxious process. Faye, who often acts as the “mother” to the entire team, believes that the industry thrives when professionalism replaces contention.
“As Realtors, our relationship with other Realtors and their clients does not need to be contentious,” Faye notes. “Ideally, we all want the same thing—creating a transaction that satisfies both buyer’s and seller’s needs.”
Rosa echoes this sentiment, emphasizing the need for constant growth. She has expanded her interests and designation to expand the firm’s commercial footprint.
“Keep learning, be flexible, and remember: you are representing your clients,” she advises.
Looking Ahead
When they aren’t closing deals, both women remain deeply rooted in their communities and their families. Faye is an avid traveler who recently set her sights on Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, while Rosa remains active in the Wind Point Planning Commission and enjoys spending time with her husband, Danny, and their blended family of five children and five grandchildren.
As they look toward 2026, their goals remain centered on service and expertise. Whether it’s Faye helping a friend navigate a new adventure or Rosa securing a commercial transaction, the mission remains the same.
“The most fulfilling is helping people achieve their dreams,” Faye concludes. “I love running into past clients in the community and hearing how happy they are.”
