Jenny Lotz

Murney Associates

When a person is powered by a sense of purpose in their work, it’s easy to see the real results they create in the world around them.

A prime example of that dynamic is Jenny Lotz.

As a Real Estate Agent with Murney Associates, Jenny is dedicated to helping those around her get their goals when it comes to buying or selling their homes.

“With real estate I feel very good to be able to apply my skills and knowledge on their behalf,” Jenny says.

“When people talk with me about real estate, it opens the door for me to have a relationship with them. I get to learn what their goals are in life and it’s exciting to be part of that process with them.”

Picking Up the Dream
Sometimes in our lives, it can be interesting to see how certain aspects of our own dreams and goals come full circle. Jenny remembers one such instance in her own life.

“One day I found a letter in my closet that I had written to a friend. It was from about 20 years ago. I had said that I wanted to get into real estate and flip houses,” Jenny remembers.

“I haven’t flipped a house yet, but I got a lot of life experiences that really served me well before I swung back around to real estate.”

Getting Her Start
Jenny remembers getting her real estate license to support the investments that she and her husband, Brad, were getting involved in.

“I sheepishly mentioned to him that I thought I’d enjoy working in the real estate business. My uncle was in real estate at the time with a team. My husband mentioned the idea to him and he thought I would be great in the business, too. He inspired me to jump in even further than I thought I would.”

After earning her license at the end of 2018, Jenny began her transition into the business. Her prior experience had made her move into real estate successful.

“I had worked as a teacher and coach, and I was gone from my kids so often that it was difficult. Plus, Brad is a Pastor, and we have four very active children, so I’m accustomed to a very busy lifestyle,” Jenny says. “The time management and multitasking I have to do in all of my different roles in life has helped me build and maintain my real estate business. My business started to take off and I went into real estate full-time, and it’s been a gift to me.”

Wonderful Life
As Jenny smiles when she talks about her family, it’s easy to see the strength and motivation that she gets from them.

“My family is definitely a big part of my story. They are the reason I’m doing this,” Jenny says. “Our home life is very important to me, and home life is what made me want to take a step into the business of homes.”

In her relatively young real estate career, Jenny has established and continued to build success for herself and others.

Rewarding Teamwork

One of the newer and rewarding parts of her real estate career is having her own team.

“I am blessed to have team members who work very hard and make a real difference. Chrystal Dalton is our Transaction Coordinator. She is fantastic at reining in all of the ideas that I throw out,” Jenny says with a smile.

“We are also very lucky to have Bo Beard on the team. Bo is also involved in our church, and serves people all around him very well.”

Jenny and Brad cherish time with their children — Brody, Brecken, Clementine and Oaklee.

In her free time, Jenny has a passion for supporting their children in their school and sports activities, with baseball and basketball being among their favorites.

They also enjoy time together at home, as well as their engagement with Hill City Church, where Brad serves as Pastor.

As Jenny says, “Our community at church is extremely important to us. In addition, the Pregnancy Care Center is a fantastic organization that has a big place in our hearts. We have adopted two children and that organization has had a very positive impact in this community.”

Energized Spirit

It’s clear that Jenny is energized at a deep level in what she does. Truly, she works with purpose.

“I want people to flourish, whether I meet them through real estate or another walk of life. I teach women in a cardio care class at the gym, and I love seeing them thrive, too,” she says.

“I want people to live amazing lives and to live them to the best of their abilities. When I meet with clients or others, that’s what I want for them. It drives me to listen well, work hard, support, and advocate for them.”

As Jenny looks to the future, she remains focused on attaining the goals for those around her,
contributing her skills and energy to helping them move forward in their own lives.

“I’m working really hard for them to solve problems with and for them with the goal of helping them to make good decisions. My goal is for them to know that I care and that I want to exceed their expectations in service.”
